Easily a 5 star experience for my first visit. The lady who helped me was really genuinely nice and put off a really kind vibe. The whole place had a really welcoming vibe. There was an issue with my card at the atm so i wasnt able to complete my purchase, but I'll definitely be back. Thanks to the lady who tried really hard to help me!

As a cannabis travel industry business owner, I always look for the best experience at a dispensary so I can recommend places to our guests. I cannot say enough about 420 Sahara....and I've been to literally 100+ dispensaries across a dozen states. The dispensary itself is beautifully designed with a good flow. But the thing that really stood out to me is that - after checking my ID - they recognized it was my birthday and gave me a nice little gift. I didn't say a word, had never been there before. THIS is how you generate customer loyalty. We also played a cornhole game to win more goodies (we did!) and earned a couple of free edibles. The budtender and front desk staff were amazing. It's across the street from the Monorail station and easy to get to. Do make sure to visit!

Great selection, great staff, cool name... horrible prices. They charge almost 20% tax on top of market value. Its ridiculous. You can find the same flower a few blocks over at plenty of other dispensaries for a straight up price. And if they do tax, their not gouging you. Also, not a fan of their "pick n choose" discount. They offer local, service industry and first responder discount but not on half ounces, or other specific products. Again, cool thing to offer but plenty of other dispensaries around the area who actually honor a discount on everything. Being one of the first to establish themselves here in Vegas, you figure they would be on the up and up with their competitors but I guess not. Oh well, on too the next dispensary

KNOW THE FACTS

THC -VS- CBD

Understanding the Difference

Cannabinoids are natural compounds found in the cannabis plant, with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol) being two of the most well-known. While both cannabinoids share a common origin, they have distinct effects on the body. THC is the primary psychoactive compound responsible for the intoxicating “high” sensation associated with cannabis. In contrast, CBD does not produce a psychoactive effect and offers various potential therapeutic benefits. Understanding the differences between these cannabinoids is essential in exploring their respective roles in recreational and medical applications. In this article, we delve into the unique properties of THC, THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), and CBD, shedding light on their effects and potential health benefits. Please note that individual responses may vary, and consulting with a healthcare professional is advised for personalized guidance.

THC
CBD
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and (cannabidiol) are both cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, but they have different effects on the body.

THC is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, meaning it is responsible for producing the "high" sensation. It binds to the CB1 receptors in the brain and central nervous system, leading to euphoria, relaxation, and altered perception. THC is commonly used for recreational purposes but can also have therapeutic benefits, such as pain relief, nausea reduction, and appetite stimulation.
CBD, unlike THC, is non-psychoactive and does not produce a "high." It interacts with various receptors in the body, including CB1 and CB2 receptors, as well as serotonin and vanilloid receptors, resulting in a range of potential therapeutic benefits. CBD is known for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-anxiety, and antioxidant properties. It is commonly used for medical purposes, such as managing chronic pain, reducing anxiety and depression symptoms, and alleviating seizures in certain epilepsy disorders.

On the other hand, THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the acidic precursor of THC. It does not have psychoactive effects unless heated or decarboxylated, which converts THCA into THC. In its raw form, THCA is believed to have anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties, but more research is needed to fully understand its potential benefits.

It’s important to note that the effects of cannabinoids can vary from person to person, and individual responses may differ based on factors such as dosage, method of consumption, and overall health. If you have specific health concerns or questions about using cannabinoids, it’s best to consult with a healthcare professional.

TERPENES GUIDE

Understanding the Diffrence

Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in plants, including cannabis. They contribute to the distinct flavors and scents of different strains and have potential therapeutic effects

QUICK GUIDE
EFFECTS
1. Understanding Terpenes: Terpenes are organic compounds produced by plants. In cannabis, they work alongside cannabinoids like THC and CBD to create a unique profile of effects.

2. Common Terpenes: Some common terpenes found in cannabis include myrcene (earthy, musky), limonene (citrusy), pinene (piney), and linalool (floral). Each terpene has its own characteristic aroma and potential health benefits.

3. Aroma and Flavor: Terpenes give cannabis its distinct smell and taste, playing a significant role in strain identification and consumer preferences.

4. Therapeutic Potential: Terpenes may also have therapeutic properties. For example, myrcene is believed to have sedative effects, while limonene could have mood-enhancing or anti-inflammatory properties.

5. Entourage Effect: Terpenes, along with cannabinoids, may work synergistically to produce the entourage effect. This theory suggests that the combined presence of various compounds enhances the overall effects of cannabis.

6. Research and Exploration: As terpenes gain more attention, research into their individual effects and interactions with cannabinoids is ongoing. Exploring different strains and their terpene profiles can help users find desired effects and flavors.

Remember, individual experiences may vary, and it's important to consult with knowledgeable professionals when using cannabis for therapeutic purposes.
1. Myrcene: Known for its earthy and musky aroma, myrcene may have relaxing and sedating effects. It is thought to enhance the potency of THC and contribute to the "couch-lock" feeling.

2. Limonene: With a citrusy scent, limonene is believed to have mood-enhancing and stress-relieving properties. It may also have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.

3. Pinene: As the name suggests, pinene has a piney aroma. It may have anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator effects, making it potentially helpful for respiratory conditions. Pinene is also associated with improved focus and alertness.

4. Linalool: This floral-scented terpene is often found in lavender and has calming and relaxing properties. It may help reduce anxiety, promote sleep, and have anticonvulsant effects.

5. Caryophyllene: With a spicy and peppery aroma, caryophyllene is unique as it can bind to cannabinoid receptors, making it a possible non-psychoactive cannabinoid. It may have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and potential neuroprotective effects.

6. Humulene: Known for its woody and earthy aroma, humulene has shown potential anti-inflammatory and appetite-suppressing effects. It is also believed to have antibacterial properties.

7. Terpinolene: Terpinolene has a fresh, herbal scent and may have sedative effects. Some research suggests that it may have anticancer properties.

It's important to note that the effects of terpenes can vary depending on the individual, the specific strain, and the combination of terpenes with cannabinoids. Additionally, ongoing research is still uncovering the full potential of terpenes in cannabis.

KNOW THE FACTS

INDICA
-VS-
SATIVIA

Understanding the Diffrence

Indica and Sativa are two primary species of the cannabis plant that possess distinct characteristics. Understanding the differences between Indica and Sativa can help you make informed decisions about the type of experience you seek when consuming cannabis.

INDICA
SATIVA
Indica strains are known for their relaxing and sedating effects. They often have a higher concentration of CBD (cannabidiol), which is a non-intoxicating compound known for its potential therapeutic benefits. Indica strains are typically associated with feelings of relaxation, pain relief, and stress reduction. They can also induce a sense of calmness and promote sleep, making them popular choices for evening or nighttime use.
Sativa strains are typically associated with uplifting and energizing effects. They tend to have a higher concentration of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound responsible for the "high" sensation. Sativas are often chosen by those seeking an uplifting and creative experience, as they can enhance focus, boost creativity, and provide a burst of energy. Sativa strains are commonly used during the daytime or in social settings.

On the other hand, It’s important to note that not all cannabis strains neatly fit into the Indica or Sativa categories. Many modern strains are hybrids, combining characteristics of both Indica and Sativa. These hybrids can offer a blend of effects, providing a more personalized experience.

When selecting cannabis strains, understanding whether it is Indica, Sativa, or a hybrid can give you a general idea of the expected effects. However, everyone’s reaction to cannabis is unique, so it’s important to experiment and find the strains that work best for you.

KNOW THE FACTS

Medical
-VS-
Adult Use

Understanding the Difference

When it comes to cannabis, understanding the two primary categories of use is crucial. Medical and recreational cannabis serve distinct purposes and offer different experiences. Medical cannabis harnesses the therapeutic properties of cannabis and its components to treat various medical conditions, providing relief and improving patients’ well-being. On the other hand, recreational cannabis is used for non-medical purposes, offering psychoactive effects that enhance enjoyment, relaxation, or creative inspiration. Although the line between the two can sometimes blur, recognizing the different purposes and considerations associated with each type of cannabis use is essential.

MEDICAL
ADULT USE
Medical marijuana refers to the use of cannabis and its cannabinoids for the treatment of various medical conditions and symptoms. The potential medicinal uses of cannabis have gained significant attention in recent years due to its therapeutic properties.

Cannabis contains numerous compounds called cannabinoids, such as THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), which interact with the body's endocannabinoid system. This system plays a role in regulating various bodily functions, including pain perception, immune response, mood, and more.

Medical marijuana has been found to be beneficial for several medical conditions and symptoms, including:

1. Chronic pain: Cannabis has been used to manage chronic pain, including conditions like arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and neuropathy.

2. Nausea and vomiting: Medical marijuana can help alleviate nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy and other medical treatments.

3. Appetite stimulation: It has been observed that cannabis can increase appetite in individuals with conditions such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.

4. Epilepsy: CBD, a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in cannabis, has shown promise in reducing seizures in some forms of epilepsy.

5. Anxiety and depression: Some individuals find relief from symptoms of anxiety and depression with the use of medical marijuana. However, it's important to note that cannabis may not be suitable for everyone and may exacerbate symptoms in some cases.

6. Muscle spasms and spasticity: Conditions such as multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries can cause muscle spasms and spasticity, which may be alleviated by medical marijuana.

It's important to consult with a healthcare professional who specializes in medical cannabis to determine if it is a suitable treatment option for your specific condition. They can provide guidance on the appropriate strains, dosage, and administration methods to optimize the therapeutic benefits while minimizing potential side effects.
Recreational marijuana refers to the use of cannabis for personal enjoyment rather than for medical purposes. In some jurisdictions where it is legal, adults can purchase and consume cannabis for recreational use. The regulations regarding recreational marijuana vary from country to country and even within different states or provinces.

Many places that have legalized recreational marijuana have imposed age restrictions and guidelines on the amount of cannabis that can be purchased and possessed. Additionally, there are often specific laws regarding where cannabis can be consumed, such as private residences or designated public areas.

As with any substance, it's important to use recreational marijuana responsibly and in moderation. It's also crucial to be aware of the laws and regulations in your jurisdiction to ensure compliance and avoid any legal consequences. If you choose to use recreational marijuana, it's important to stay informed about its effects, possible risks, and to make responsible choices regarding consumption.

It’s worth mentioning that the line between medical and recreational cannabis use can sometimes blur, as some individuals may use cannabis recreationally to self-manage certain medical symptoms. Additionally, some medical cannabis products may contain low levels of THC for medicinal purposes while still maintaining a non-intoxicating effect. Nonetheless, it’s essential to recognize and respect the distinct purposes and considerations associated with medical and recreational cannabis use.
